they are simple long dresses... soft ..v neck at the top.. ties around your neck.. i always wear a paper thin sweater or shrug with them... and sandals.

Speaking of Dancing with the Stars, the magazine I just got talks about their secrets on staying thin and how you can do it too. Ummm, yeah, they basically eat 1,500 calories a day and practice their dance moves for 8 hours.

I saw an ad by old navy advertising the dresses like this.. i bet they have them in the store.. they are cute, comfy, cool, casual chic.

I found mine at marshalls... one is max studio brand.. the other is a little boutique brand i can't remember.. cute cute! my little chihuahua liked to run under the long hem when i tried them on last night..she was so cute playing hide and seek.

Theresa, I use EM too, and really like them. So does Callie (DangerMouse). I used Bare Minerals for awhile but they made my face itchy.

What items do you use when you do your own pedis? I bought that ped egg or whatever it's called and like that pretty well. Anything you'd recommend?

I try to remember to lotion up my feet after every shower. I just clip my nails with regular clippers and file. Nothing special. I use a sally hansen color and that's it. I may get a Mickey Head on there for the trip though.

Where do you find your flip flops at? Do you get the fun, cheapo ones at Target and Kohls? Or do you get those flip flops (can't remember the name now) that are like $70 for one pair??

And what size do you wear?

I always get the cheap Target ones. Those ones are like my everyday type of flip flop. You can get those and sparkle them up with stuff if needed.

I have a couple pair that are brand new that I can't wear. I was going to pass them along to you, but they are size 10. Yep, my feet are actually larger then yours.

I spend most of my time barefoot. If I could go barefoot while out running errands, I would.

While we are at it.....I don't do skinny jeans and low rise...its not pretty.

Of all those, the only one I agree on is the make-up. I love experimenting with make-up. But I get the cheapo stuff like Revlon.





I used to wear heels all the time. I don't know how I did it. Now wearing heels feels like a punishment.

I have a great pair that never hurts my feet. But they don't go with much.

I will definitely be bringing at least one pair of my $80 flip-flops (they are my evening wear - very sparkly!) I'm also a barefoot girl at home (which is why my darn feet are so funky now!!!)

I found out about a mineral makeup called EveryDay Minerals. You can get five free samples (travel size - quite generous) and all you pay is the shipping. I thought I'd give it a try because I have sensitive skin and wanted something for my redness sad1. I got them and I love it! It is very light and the green (I thought it would make me look like Kermit) really works. I'm very happy and now I'm going to order the full size!!!

Stop shopping at the old lady shops. YOu are too young for that. Just go there to get good support bras and comfy undies. Check out Torrid. I love that store. I actually have most of my non scrub work cloths from there. Give them a whirl.

They really do. I wish I could afford to spend that much on clothes. Sometimes I'll spoil myself, but that very rarely happens. I have trouble spending any more then $15 on a pair of jeans.

I only buy when they are on sale. I love the light weight ones from Avenue.

Torrid is a "healthy" woman store, but more trendy. Its sorta a younger hipper version of LB (lane bryant aka lucy's boutique)

i have fears of little tiny people, like real people you know ,that all of a sudden one day were little like barbie doll size and alive!!!

That's where i had it for the first time.

So this morning i was looking at this $40,000 Louis Vuitton purse that Beyonce bought..it's a collection of purses in one purse.. like a quilt of purses. And i thought.. why do i want a purse like everybody else..i'm just going to design a one of a kind purse like that 40,000 purse but with purses i like in the style i like and take it to a local leather shop to have it sewn. It will be recycling the purses i already have..and producing an original product. i have a classic dooney and bourke that i want to use as my base and mix in some leather coaches creating a mix of the two with canvas and leather. I've been sketching it out. I have the purses laid out in my art room and am playing with the mix i need a drawstring for one of the sides.

Dawn I could so imagine you starting a purse line. Have you ever seen these purses, oh what are they called - I actually have one - it's a woman designer and that's all she does, they are little fantasies and people collect them. I will have to take a pic of mine (I forgot I had it). she uses feathers and stones, I'll bet you've seen them.
