Correct. They don't strip totally naked. Its almost more of a floor show type of deal. We could probably grab a booth away from the stage and not have it be so in our faces. And seriously, I would hope that no one would buy a lap dance for someone else without their permission. I personally find it icky. Meaning, I don't care and think its ick for someone else to have one, just don't want one for me.

Gambling time!!! I can get quite caught up in the gambling, so if any of you have to pull me away, please be nice!!

I think Donna and I are okay, at least I hope so... maybe we should be asking about you... are you safe to be around???

I would love to learn about gambling at some point by watching you,like at roulette, if it's allowed. Or maybe just a little fast orientation/tutorial about gambling in Vegas. I know certain things, so am not asking you to teach me poker or blackjack. Jut show me where that machine is where you put in a quarter and win a million.

My concern is just not the food outside of the US, but my safety in general. You hear some many horor stories. Just can't help but have those stick in my mind KWIM?

I do understand your fears. But the reason you hear the horror stories is because they sell newspapers and make people watch the tv news. Honestly, I felt safer in the African bush than I do in most of LA.

And - some people in Japan and Germany etc. think that the US is very dangerous because they've had tourists come here and get carjacked or killed.

The thing is, you just travel smart. And for you, an organized group tour would probably make you feel more comfortable. Just saying, if you ever decided to go for it....

Can I just say I am so LOST on this thread?!! right now I am booked at MGM from Sunday until Saturday because of the issue with whether we can get a ground-floor timeshare facility or not. So if there's someone else who wants to stay in the timeshare I will give up my spot.

Ok, so I guess I'd better check out the first page to see what activities are planned. Not sure about the Stripper 101 class --not that it wouldn't be fun--but #1 my arthritis issues and #2 it would remind me that I'm not in a relationship right now to use the stripper skills to best advantage--LOL!!! besides, as stacielee and I said before--we need gamblin' time!

I am probably in for most of the shows and the other activities including the massage--Stacerita--did they have different sized clothes at this spa? One issue I've encountered is that a lot of times they don't accommodate the fuller-sized (aka fat) figure!

I'm traveling to the US (from Canada - different country!!!) I am QUITE the world traveller now, you know I'm also looking for those slot machines, so we'll be on a search and hopefully going home millionaires!

I've been really nauseous the past few days, so I haven't been on much.

I'm so excited for the trip and have spent most of the weekend online looking for new clothes for Vegas. I didn't really find anything, but I'm excited to buy new clothes.

Don't you think that if I knew THAT, I would have already done it?!? Roulette is very easy, I play it sometimes, but not very often. I play blackjack mostly, and slots sometimes.

Oh, so now we have a challenge to corrupt you!!!

I'll try and help find the BEST slot machines. Actually, when my DH and I went on a cruise last November for our 20th anniversary, I played in a slot tournament. I ended up around 6th out of about 50 people. I bought in once, and got bumped out of the top 9 required in the next to the last round so I bought in again and got in the top 9. Then they played the final round and we got to pick which machine we wanted in the order that we came in the top 9. There were 2 machines that I wanted one or the other, but by the time I got to pick, they were gone. Of course, those were the 2 that paid 1st and 2nd place!!
