We had the *Perfect* WDW vacation in Feb. We just booked for Dec. '09, and last night DH commented that he wants to eat at all the same places because everything was so good. We did CM, CRT, CP, Sci-Fi, plus some counter service places. I'd love to add 1900 Park Fare, 50s, Le Cellier, Whispering Canyon or Ohana. Obviously we have 6 months before I can even make ADRs, but I figure I'd better start working on him if I want to talk him into something new. (This man fears change! :rotfl: )

That made me wonder, what do you all do? Stick with the same favorites on every trip? Try new places? Or a combo?

I've always thought it's best to do a combo of old and new. It's fun to try new things, but also nice to have old favorites to fall back on. Maybe pick your favorite 3 old places? I can tell you that Le Cellier and Whispering Canyon are two of our favorites.

With the addition of being able to purchase the Disney Dining Plan we too have started venturing out to new restaurants everytime we go... We have some favorites...Ohana being one of them and is one that I am sure your DH will love, LeCellier is also another fav of mine altho my son has yet to try it. Park Fare has a great buffet. Prime Time is fun for the atmosphere if you have a group of people, Sci Fi is another unique dining experience. I would go thru the dining reviews, looking at pictures people have posted of the places you want to try as well as printing out the menus for your DH to see and I think you will be able to convince him to branch out a little. I dont think he will be disappointed if you do that, he knows what each restaurant has to offer in advance and I think once you do that he will be waiting for your vacation dining experiences to get here quickly :)

We try to do the same ones each time and add a few in..some of our favorites though are The Biergarten in Germany..our kids love trying all the new food and love to dance when the band plays.. Kona cafe is great (in the Poly), WCC is always fun and the food is good, Le Cellier, and Teppan Edo in Japan...

We do a combination. We just took our fifth trip, and the only restaurant we have been to all five times is the Crystal Palace breakfast. You never outgrow Pooh characters!! We've been to Beaches and Cream four times. I love the No Way Jose!

We do a different Epcot country every year. I've only been to Le Cellier once because of that, but it was good. This year we ate in Italy, and it was the best!

We've done WCC breakfast a couple of times. It is very good and fun!

Have fun planning!

One of our must do's is GF Cafe, it is just a great meal in a nice quiet place we do it mid trip.

A combo of both for us. In October, we did several of the same one (LTT, CM dinner, H&V, Rainforest Cafe, CP). Then we tried some new ones (Cape May Cafe Bfast, Donald Safari Bfast, Coral Reef lunch, SciFi lunch, Ohana Bfast, Tony's Town Square dinner) Of the new ones, we won't be going back to Tony's or Ohana, but liked the others. Next trip I'd like to try 1900 Park Fare for bfast, Garden Grill for dinner and 50s Prime Time.

If you love the place and the food, then keep doing it!!! Just add a few new ones to try out here and there. Makes things more interesting.
