I’ve never booked things in advance on a cruise before (mainly cause I only was on DCL many, many years ago as a teen) but I’m hoping to be able to book Olaf’s Royal Picnic for my DD when we go on the Wish in October (so long as the price isn’t extremely crazy). I’m expecting it will be something that fills up fast. When would the time be for booking an event like that? And do all guests begin booking at the same time or do different levels of castaway cay members get to book earlier (I’m only silver)?

I think the princess tea is $100 more. If it comes with a doll/stuff Olaf, jewery box, and whatever else comes wit the princess tea, it will probably cost the same. My dd went to the tea back in 2014. They didn't get all the toys back then. They got a snack, met all the princesses, took pics with them, and got to dance with them. It was free. It's too bad they don't do an option like this still.

Do you think being only a silver CC that I have any hope of getting a reservation for it? I feel like it’s going to be something lots of people want but I’ve heard princess tea is hard to get too but idk if it sells out before getting to silver or not

I would guess around $250 or more a kid because it does come with gifts: a picnic blanket, a stuffed troll, and a mandolin. Too rich for my taste.

This will be probably popular than the Tea primarily as it’s not as ‘girl’ oriented and it’s new..

price point will probably be similar to the Tea at $300+ for kid/parent

but the popularity of the tea definitely varies as I’ve seen it sold out super quick other cruises not. When we did it in January there were 5 kids total 🤷🏻‍♀️
If it’s not available keep checking and then check aboard

I would expect this to be more popular. Tea is one and done for many CC members which makes it easier for Silver and new cruisers.

Even if Olaf is one and done, no one has done it yet.

Good point! Plus I think they’re selling the sailings at full capacity.
