I had a similar issue last year when I got an upgrade to SSR. I was looking for threads for people who could give a perspective from the point of view of going from a standard type of resort to DVC.

Even though, going over to the DVC boards gave me an idea of what the resort looked like, the amenities, etc. - it didn't give the lowdown on how it was like going from a resort like POR with a full-blown food court, ease of bus transportation right from the main building instead of back tracking, etc.

However, I can tell you the restaurants at SSR (Turf Club) and OKW (Olivia's) are some of the best kept secrets in the world. I loved both of them.

I loved being that much closer to DTD - we walked a few nights.
