OKW waitlist?

We had booked a 1BR at OKW for 11/26-12/2. Airfares have been very high for those dates, I ended up booking airfare for 11/25-12/1 for hundreds less. I just called MS and there is no 1BR availability anywhere for 11/25, even SSR. I know it is a busy time for members to visit but I was suprised there aren't any rooms anywhere.

So, what they did was put me on the waitlist for both 11/25 and for 11/25-12/1. Is there any chance that we'll get through on the waitlist?

I'm a little confused - if you already have a 1br and are just missing one night (11/25), why are you waitlisting for the entire vacation again?

If you're looking for just 1 night at OKW, you have a pretty good chance of getting it, I would say. I had a 1BR at OKW until 2 weeks ago when my waitlist at BCV came through.

You better check and see if MS has cancelled your original reservation. Otherwise, it makes no sense to be on a waitlist for days you already have.

November 25 is the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, so I would say there is not a great chance of obtaining availability that day. But you never know. Good luck and keep us posted!

I agree, check online to make sure you still have the original ressie. If not, there is VERY LITTLE chance of getting it back. Actually, we are switching from a dedicated 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom that same day, so we will be checking in and out and hoping to not have to wait ALL day to get back in.

I thought we could only waitlist ONE thing now, and not have multiple waitlists for the same dates. This looks like a multiple waitlist, and that is why I think your original ressie may have been cancelled.

Heart attack averted . Just looked online and our original ressie is still showing. If our ressie had been cancelled I think my head would have exploded! I was VERY clear that I didn't want to cancel until I knew I had what I needed.

I am a new member so I couldn't tell you what is and isn't allowed. I called MS this morning and explained what we needed. They told me they'd put me on the two waitlists and if either comes through they will automatically make the change and send confirmation in the mail. If it doesn't come through I have a room booked at POR and we'll just move on the 26th.

Keeping fingers crossed that it comes through as I really don't want to move.
