Hi All!
I just wanted to ask a little advice regarding room requests. We leave in 24 days for our month long cruise/WDW vacation (6th trip but 1st time as DVCers)!!! We will be at OKW for 2 nights, VWL for 9 nights & BCV for 1 night. Our wait list came through for the last night at VWL but we decided we really wanted the chance to check out BCV:D But I digress......
What would your recommendations be for these resorts? We are a 38 year old couple (no kids), staying in a studio at each place. We'll probably want a higher floor, decent view and balcony (if they have them). Convenience to restaurants, shops, busses etc. is not very important because we'll have our car. And, though we do not have kids, we do not try to avoid them, so near pools etc.. is fine too.
OK, I've babbled on enough now! Can you help????

At OKW, I would request 2nd or 3rd floor and golf course view. Also, indicate if you want smoking or non-smoking. This will probably get you a very nice studio. All OKW studios have balconies.

We just stayed at OKW last month in building 46 - it's non-smoking and right on the lake with a view of the South Point Pool. It was so far the best location we have had! We were on the ground floor in a one bedroom, I believe the studio next to us was room #4610. If you are looking for a second floor, the studio above would be #4620. We really enjoyed the view and even had ducks come up to see us every morning off the lake. :earsboy

PamOKW & Scoootch: Thanks for the great responses regarding OKW!! That helps a lot!!
Anyone out there with feedback on BCV & VWL??? TIA
o

Since requests are filled on a first come basis, you may be a little late to make your request. Most requests are done at time of reservation which could have been 11 months before.
