OKW vs SSR Over Thanksgiving

My DH and DS (7) will be at DW over the week, Monday through Friday, of Thanksgiving before heading down to Miami for a 5 day cruise. We jumped when our window opened and setup reservations today before everything is totally gone. We chose a 1 bedroom at OKW. But, SSR is available too, and I was wondering which would be the best choice? My husband went with OKW just on the looks, but I noticed a spa at SSR and wondered if I am missing out on other amenities there too. Any thoughts???

So we are staying at OKW for the first time in Oct, however, we own at SSR. SSR has easy access to DTD via boat, walking path, or bus. The theming is subtle for Disney but strong on horses, racing, etc. The community hall at SSR has the greatest staff according to DD. SSR has 3 themed pools plus at least 1 quiet pool with easy access/entry for kids. SSR has the Turf Club, a sit down restaurant as well as Artist's Pallette for quick serve. Finally, SSR is peaceful - with wildlife, walking paths, and open spaces it is a great place to come home to at the end of the day. We love our home.

SSR sounds lovely, and I really enjoyed your description. I am positive we will venture over there and explore a little bit if we don't switch over this visit. I shared it with my husband so that he could hear it too!
