OKW studios

Hello,

I am staying at OKW in a studio for 2 weeks. Anyone have a studio that they have stayed in that they thought was nice. We weren't able to get near hospitality house so I was thinking of asking for Peninsular Rd. If you stayed in a nice studio and can provide the area and room number I would appreciate it. Looks like most studios don't have much of a view. I was hoping to have a golf course view.. thanks!

I concur....if you ask for a golf course view, there are so many of those it shouldnt be hard for them to do that for you, even at check in

only the buildings near hospitality house have elevators, so we requested "near elevator", and ended up in building 64. it was right across the road from HH. view wasn't great though, partial water/ mostly roof. we would request there again for the location.

Building 27 has golf course views, we usually ask for that area but last year we had building 13 given to us. It was quieter than anticipated but didn't have a golf course view. This year we are going to ask for buildings 27/28 (arrive at OKW next week).

My advice to you would be to look at a map of OKW and figure out where the bus turnarounds are. You do not want a studio right by a bus turnaround - they drive thru the parking lots of some buildings after picking up guests. Request a building that isn't close to a bus stop!

Our one stay in a studio found that since the door opens to the outside, it was quite loud inside if you had to hear the buses turning around every few minutes right outside your door.

I stayed in building 28 once and it is along a fairway. Problem is there is a lot of vegetation and trees so really not much of a view. My favorite golf course views are on Turtle Pond Road, I've been in buildings 32, 37 & 43. Those buildings had both water & golf course views.

There are only three buildings with an elevator and they are usually reserved for medical needs (62, 63 and 64). The Hospitality House Area villas do not have elevators (11-14 and 23-26).

We had building 28 and it was a wonderful golf course view (not a studio, but there are studios in all the buildings, right?). Anyway, we have done online check-in for our upcoming trip and I put Peninsula Road, but I will call again the week before and "make sure" they have my original request for building 28 on my reservations. But as always, nothing is guaranteed, so be flexible and you should be okay. We love OKW!
