OKW Studio Questions

I have a couple of questions about OKW-

Do they have any kind of daily children's activities?

Do the studios have DVD players?


What are some things that we should bring along that I might not think of? I normally stay at POP and I'm not sure what extra things that I might need at OKW in a studio.

I just stayed with my wife in a studio and we had actually stayed at Pop Centrury for 3 days before. Let me tell you, there was no comparrison. We liked Pop for what it was. It was very clean. However, the relaxed atmosphere of OKW was great.

There are daily activities for kids and you can check out what they are at Community Hall. There also is an arcade as well as some table games (pool, air hockey) in Community Hall. In addition, they have a wonderful pool with a slide and a kiddie pool and kiddie area for smaller children and toddlers.

In the room you will have a small, under the counter, refrigerator. It actually isn't that small. You can get a lot of food and stuff in it. You will also have a microwave, coffee maker and a toaster at the wet bar area. They also supply paper plates, plastic silverware, glasses and mugs. In addition, you will get som dish soap so you can wash whatever you need to.

So you could store and cook small meals in your room without a problem.

I don't think any DVC studios are equipped with DVD players or VCRs, only 1 bedroom and larger units.

We always bring our portable DVD player with us when we stay in studios (as WDW DVC studios don't have DVD or VCR's - only Vero and Hilton Head studios have them). We plug the portable DVD player up via the front hookups of the TV in the studio and we watch movies that way.
