OKW still dark

It has been awhile since we stayed at OKW. Do the villas still have the ugly dark furniture? I was looking at some old photos where the villas had the light "beachy" colors and am hoping they have reverted back to the lighter colors. How about the bed covers? Do they have duvets or just the thin blanket and a top sheet?

Weird, I've owned at OKW since the early 90's and I don't recall "dark" furniture…….it's always been a be achy theme. Perhaps they've had some "dark" furniture somewhere along the years but I don't recall it. I've always thought OKW villas were very light and airy for the most part, whether one liked the decor or not.

That was part of the renovation in 2010. Gone with Key West and in with Old Beach Club, but with black dining table and dark brown headboard and other bedroom furniture. Not very Key West.

The beds are triple sheeted, no poly bedspread. The "top sheet" is a bit thicker than the regular sheets, but with a printed decoration. Not as heavy as a blanket, but there is a blanket between the top sheet and the "top sheet".
