okw/ssr buses question

Does OKW & SSR share a bus to DTD or any of the parks? If so, is there anyway I can find the route order? TIA

No, OKW and SSR each has their own bus system.

At OKW the usual route is Peninsular Road, South Point, Old Turtle Pond, Miller Road and HH before leaving the resort. Buses returning from DD will also stop at HH first and will be noted as "Internal" - then going to Miller, Peninsular, South Point and Turtle Pond before returning to HH and then back to DD.

At SSR, the buses go to Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock, Congress Park and then Springs. There is also a bus from THV to the Springs.

You can also take the boat from the marina. It is a really pleasant ride.

Resort-to-Resort transportation is a challenge at most WDW resorts. Your options would be to take a bus to DD or a Theme Park and then take another bus to the other resort - OR - take a cab. (Walking is also an option - but it's about a mile from Building 55 at OKW over to the spa at SSR.)

We use WDW transportation even when we have a vehicle and typically allow 90 minutes to go from one resort to another unless they are close enough to walk like BWV/BC/YC/S/D.

Sounds like a cab might be your best option.

Does the boat not stop at ssr and then to okw? I seem to remember staying at ssr and taking the boat over to okw to look around and then taking it back.

No. It used to, but when THV opened, they separated the SSR and OKW boats.

The OKW boat is OKW to DTD (Pleasure Island dock) and back to OKW.

The SSR boat is THV to SSR dock to DTD (Pleasure Island dock) back to SSR and on to THV dock.

Thanks John, we're leaving on Fri. to okw and we have friends staying at ssr at the same time. They're interested in seeing the difference between a 2bdrm at okw to the one their staying in at ssr, but I think they're going to have a car so it won't matter althou I would have enjoyed the boat ride.
