OKW Room Location

HI...what is the best location when choosing your room at OKW? Don't to be too far out from main areas. Thank you!

Best location is very subjective....my idea of the best location could differ greatly from yours.
Long story short....the locations closest to the main areas are a different booking category. That would be Hospitality House area.
I stayed in the Turtle Pond area....right in the middle of the bus route. Check out a resort map and get an idea as to what location works best for you.

We love the turtle pond area.

The pond is nice and large and generally qiuet. Pool large and quiet as well. There is a snack CS and a fruity drink bar.

We always take 1 evening in themiddle of our trip and BBQ and have a family dinner near the pool.

As the PP said, the hospitality area is a separate booking category as most people want to be near the main pool and restaurant not to mention the main bus stop. Now that does not mean the other bldgs are not just as nice nor far away from the main area. You need to look at the resort map because I have stayed in bldg 18 and it was just a short walk to the main area, while I also stayed in bldg 45 and it was a hike to the main area. Bldg 18 was great because my room overlooked the golf course and right down into the hospitality area while also being next to a quiet pool...sort of the best of both worlds. It all depends on what you are looking for. What's more important (IMHO) is what floor you are on. If you have young kids and strollers, going up two flights of stairs can quickly become a chore as elevators at OKW are non existent for the most part.

You can catch any bus back to the Hospitality House and main pool area because they all stop there last. To get back to your area if you choose not to walk, you can walk across the bridge to the Peninsular Road bus stop and catch a bus back to your area.
