OKW Rehab

Hello,
We're going home 3/16 - 22 with Sister and BIL and 2 nieces. Have a 2bdrm reserved. We're owners at VWL, first time at OKW.
Does anyone have a firm understanding of the rehab and what will be finished at that time? We would like to stay in one that is finshed. Building recommendations are appreciated too, nieces are 4 and 2 so close to the pool, bus stop and Hospitality House would be ideal. From the map it looks like building 23,24 and 62 are good locations.

I don't anything about the rehab underway. You'd need that info from a recent visitor. However I am of the understanding that building 62 is one of the newer units that was buillt only a few years ago when they added a few buildings and opened up OKW for sale again. I bought through Disney at this time. My ownership interest (Oct 2000) is designated for building 64 and I am of the impression that 62,63 and 64 are all recent construction. My daughter stayed in 62 in a studio in June of 2001. It was fairly new then so I wouldn't expect any rehab would be going on yet. Buildings 23 and 24 have been around longer. Some of the buildings in the 20's are designated for smoking (better ask about that).Both areas are close to the hospitality house, main pool and bus stops. Best of luck with your vacation plans!

Buildings under 30 have new furniture and appliances for sure. The three buildings in the 60's have elevators and are close to the HH. Best to look at an OKW map and selct a couple of buildings to request.

You will love the 2 BR at OKW.

Hi Sheryl-
Saw that you were from East Quogue, We are from Southampton.
Have you been to OKW before? We were there last April w/our 3 kids and had a blast. We stayed in Bldg. 24 in a 2 bedroom and it was great, but the time before we were in Bldg. 17 and liked the location/view better. However, I don't think there is a bad Building!! Would love to answer any questions you have! Wish I was going in 50 days!! We are going to Hilton Head in July for a week, weve never been and are so excited.
Nice to have somebody "local" around!!
