OKW questions! Any help woud be great!!

Hello everyone!!

I just booked our stay at OKW from Oct 5-10 in a 2 bedroom. Our home resort is AKV but we stayed at OKW for 1 night during marathon weekend and absolutely fell in love with the bright colors and laid back atmosphere it was so nice!

So here's my question I was just comparing resorts online at Disney website and it said that the other resorts I was looking at had delivery of purchases sent to the room but not OKW is that true?? We use that a lot during our trips so we don't have to lug around our purchases but that does make me think about things.

Also on a side note, last year we also went in Oct. but closer to the end of October and it was beautiful but I am concerned about love bugs.. I know they aren't harmful but I'm a freak about bugs I am and I heard that Aug./Sept. is worse but just wanted to see if anyone had any input. Thank you so much for any help I really do appreciate!!

There is resort delivery of purchases to OKW. You can claim your items at Conch Flats (general store at hospitality house). I personally have never had a problem with love bugs at OKW.

We have always gotten deliveries at OKW, and we've been owners for 14 years. They no longer deliver right to your room though. Instead, they deliver to Conch Flats, and you have to pick it up there.

I am concerned about love bugs..

We've been in Sept, Oct and November... don't remember seeing any love bugs.
Although... we do have them here in Texas! For the most part they stay clear of you and worry more with each other.

Nah... I'm used to them. Very sweet to watch them loving on each other.

Good luck! I freak with spiders... and air plane rides (which is why we are driving this time).

Was trying to remember if we ever had trouble with bugs or animals in FL. The only time I can remember was my step mom eating apples at Epcot when a huge bird swooped down and got one out of her hand. She wasn't trying to feed it or anything. It freaked us all out!
