OKW or SSR for week of Thanksgiving?

Here I am again...posting another HELP ME DECIDE??????? There is a chance that we might go back to Disney the week of Thanksgiving....arriving Friday Nov. 21st and departing Friday Nov. 28th... the day after the holiday. Okay.....we have not stayed at OKW yet. We are staying there site unseen this July for 7 nights prior to moving to BCV (never stayed there either) for 6 nights. I would have to borrow a few points to stay at SSR but none to stay at OKW and we would have some to spare. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO......trying to decide before we even stay at OKW....would we like it enough for a repeat because I would need to book ASAP. I booked cash ressies at SSR today for Friday/Sat. 21st and 22nd and they had 2 bedrooms available for the rest of the days. I am sure OKW would have rooms available too right now. I love SSR and have always wanted to stay at OKW since we almost bought there years and years ago.

I guess what I am saying.....are there people that stay at OKW and absolutely disliked it enough that they would never stay again???? I know there are some people that don't like SSR at all....and won't even try it. I guess I am a bit nervous booking there again without having stayed there. Last year...we did stay at SSR for Thanksgiving week and loved it but we also booked that Nov. trip before staying there. LOL BUT.....we also toured SSR before buying DVC so we at least knew what the rooms were like and the resort. So.....please wise DISNEY DISER'S please help me once again. We are not picky people....to me a trip to Disney is pure heaven anyway. Thanks

We've actually stayed at both resorts during Thanksgiving. I'm gonna give a slight nod to OKW, simply because of the extra space. The big round dining table sure does give a more "family" feeling ... we order Thanksgiving dinner, spread it all out, and have a great time together.

I like every single one of the DVC properties - stayed in all of 'em except AKL and Vero. So I'm not one to be objective.

This will be our 3rd Thanksgiving at SSR. We like being able to walk over to DTD to eat.

We stayed at SSR this past Thanksgiving week. SSR is a beautiful, but big resort. It's size I think is an advantage during a busy week. I never once felt overcrowded there. I was pleasantly surprised that even the main pool did not seem too crowded. We loved our stay at SSR this past Thanksgiving.

We ordered a pre-cooked Thanksgiving meal from Publix. We picked it up the day before and heated it on thanksgiving day. We were with my brothers family, 11 ina ll and had a great time

We have stayed at both resorts and own at SSR. We like OKW with one exception.... We found the beds to be VERY hard. The extra space is nice though. We had both a grand villa and a 2 bedroom villa. I personally prefer SSR. Their beds are incredible, and although the resort is very large, it is also very comfortable and new.

I booked SSR today because it is my home resort. I can try and switch at the 7 month window to save some points and this also gives me about 6 weeks to make my FINAL DECISION. I lvoe SSR so it will be hard to decide.
