okw or ssr for 6 people

hi, we are trying to decide between old key west or saratoga springs, there will be six adults, myself and partner, my son and his girlfriend and my younger son and his friend, we will be booking a two bed villa but we are unsure where to choose, is there a difference in the size of the villas between the two resorts, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks susie2

OKW has the largest rooms in the DVC system. You can all fit around the main dining table, bring a couple of the chairs in off the patio/balcony. OKW also has a larger in-room jacuzzi. Only 3 buildings at OKW have elevators, which may be a consideration if there are any mobility issues.

SSR is more upscale in theme, with "better" quality name brand furnishings. All buildings have elevators.

It really depends upon your personal tastes.

I was going to suggest the same thing. 3 BR's for the same points as a 2 BR. That way, everyone can have their own BR. Also, the THV dining table seats 6, and the breakfast counter seats an additional 3. It has its own deck and grill. (Not that I want to stay there or anything, lol)

I'd do a 2 BR at SSR because you're closer to DD. Depending on the sleeping arrangements, a dedicated or lockoff may work better for you than the other.

I'd do the two bedroom at OKW just for the room. The second bedroom at OKW will always have two queen beds if that makes a difference. You need a dedicated at SSR to get two queen beds in the second bedroom.

But a second bedroom with the sleeper sofa (still folded up) might be more comfortable for the other couple. As long as younger son and his friend will be okay in the living room on the sleeper sofa.
