We are staying in a One Bedroom at OKW Jan 31-Feb7

My question is, do the One bedrooms on the top floor have higher ceilings (vaulted) or are they the same as other floors?

I would request a top floor and climb the stairs if it was worth it.

The 1BR rooms are identical regardless of floor. We always request a top floor anyway, though, because there's no worry of getting a handicapped accessible room, no noisy people running on your ceiling, and a better view in most cases. So we think it's worth it. It's just two flights of steps.

Thanks for your help...I am going to try for a top floor unit.

If you have any large bags or children's playpen type of things, be sure and remember that you are going to have to lug these things up a set of stairs if you don't ask for a building with an elevator.

We had requested a bottom floor, but wanted a specific building and had to settle for a top floor. Boy, those stairs are hard to work with if you're carrying large bags.

Just an FYI...have a great trip!

Jimbo, you are right on the money, we get top floor for for all the same reasons,.

No need to lug baggage, ask a bell man to help, they will have all your bags and stuff in the room in a jiffy, don't forget the tip. Have a great trip.

The older I get, the more I don't mind tipping those bellman for everything they lug for me. They seem to do it in a lot less time too. And then I am not worn out and can get everything unpacked and settled in.
