OKW New Site of Holiday Light Festival!!!

Got inspired by the thread on how to decorate your home away from home during your stay. For years the patio displays have multiplied on the OKW property. We have been putting lights up for the Thanksgiving weekend as we feel we can kick off our Christmas there but this year we are lucky enough to be there at Thanksgiving and also the Christmas week!! We will decorate again both weeks and I know alot more DVC'ers will too. I was bummed that the Osborn lights are not up this year, so let's just invite everyone to view our homes away from home.
Wouldn't it be cool if we could get even more aware of our decorating and get 90% of the patio's lit! We would have the same problem the Osborn's had with the traffic and the security guard house would have to work overtime!!
I know only a small percentage of the guests read this board, and some are CRO reservations, but those of is that do decorate, thanks, as we really enjoy your displays.

We will be at OKW over the holidays and we plan to light up the deck and inside the windows as well.

Sorry, only going to be there for 3 nights and I have lots of other things to do with my time at WDW than string up Christmas lights!

Actually I'm not really a fan of guest initiated decorations....but go ahead and have fun if that's what you're into!

OKW members might want a say about the increased electricity costs that will up their dues, though.

Cost of dues will be off set by the entrance fee.

This could be a great contest. with categories like..

1. Clark Griswald Division

2. Best use of a balcony rail

3. Best DVC theme

4, Best front door

Actually I hope the dolphins at OKW have their Santa hats on.

The world would be a better place if it were Christmas all year long.
