We just returned from a three night mini-vacation with DS and DDiL. We loved OKW. The landscaping and ambiance is lovely, so relaxing. The rooms were spotless. We each had a studio with new looking mattresses that were very comfortable (in fact, I missed the mattress last night when we got home even though we have a Sealy Posturpedic). DDiL is seven months pregnant and found the beds to be very comfortable. We were in Old Turtle Pond Road, Bldg. 41. We'd definitely do OKW again!

Thanks for the positive reinforcement about the beds! OKW is our favorite resort for all of the reasons you posted and more. Glad to hear you had a great time! This Jun because of Star War's week-end we are staying at BWV but I will still stop by OKW to enjoy the Marina and eat at Olivia's.

P.S. Since 2004 we've been fortunate to have villas with newer comfy beds!

:)Great news! I think that is the building we were in last Oct. and the mattresses were just awful (we had a 1br and a 2br). I did complain and wrote a letter, received a call and again told them they should be more vigilant in replacing the mattresses. Looks like they listened:thumbsup2!

I just got back from a stay check out Thu) in a OKW dedicated 2BR (building 18). The King was the rock-hard type (manufacturer date '92) We requested a set of egg-crates and it wound up being acceptable (not painful at all, but not the perfect, all back muscles completely relax) for sleep.
After feeling the king, I was worried about our guests in the 2nd bedroom, and I felt thier queen matresses, and they were the nice pillowtop queens..

Now they were doing a renovation of the South Point units (where the normal bus turnabout was) so they had a temporary, earlier bus stop (with tents) Unfortunately I was in 2 busses where the drivers missed the well-placed and lit temporary bus stop signs, and then had to endure a really-slow turn in the end-circle that was not intended for bus use...

not sure why anyone would order those hard kings when trying to sell a luxury product. The guides must of done a brief, "look at the size of the bedroom!", now lets look at the huge tub! (and hopefully avoid touching the bed)

We've stayed at OKW many times over the past 15 years and have always had excellent beds there.
