If yes, are they gas or charcoal? Also, are there some close to all villas? We arrive tomorrow and have no room requests, so no telling what area we will be in.

Yes, at the pool areas and they are charcoal. Here's a picture from one (South Point) of them:

Yes, OKW has charcoal grills located at each pool area. Charcoal is sold in the Conch Flats General Store at the resort.

There are grills near the main pool, Miller Road pool, Turtle Pond pool and the South Point pool. Some of the buildings are very close to these pools and some are about 100 yards away - but all buildings are near a pool.

As of mid October there was not a BBQ near the HH. We looked everywhere and then asked and were told they were near all the other pools, but if staying near HH, you'd have to drive or take the bus to another pool area to barbeque. We didn't have a car so we just cooked our steaks and burgers in a pan on the stove top.

Interesting, thanks! Anyone know how the price of charcoal there compares to buying it at a grocery store? Are those of us without cars there going to pay big-time?
