OKW Grand Villa's--Hard to book at 7 mths?

Hello Everyone,
Planning an upcoming trip and would like to know how hard is it to book a Grand Villa at OKW at the 7 month mark? I want to take my parents to Disney the 3rd week of April with the grandchildren and would love to stay at OKW. We own at SSR and know we can book at the 11 mth mark there for a Grand Villa but the point difference is huge. And if I have to borrow points to do so, I will not be able to return them to the UY.

Is it that hard to book at the 7th mark at OKW? Any suggestions?

If the week you want is either before or after Easter or a spring break week, you can probably forget about getting an OKW GV at 7 months out.

Book what you can at 11 months and then check on what you want at 7 months. They will transfer, but at least you'd have somewhere.

I am in the same situation for this November. I booked SSR for a 2 BR and studio (OUCH!) at eleven months and then put ourselves on a waiting list for the OKW villa at seven. It was the first booking of the year, so we used the current UY points. Didn't have to borrow. Still waiting.....

If you have to borrow for the SSR and you do get OKW, MS would use the borrowed points first and so the current UY points could be banked if you are still within your banking period.
