Your chances will not be too good. Calling day-by-day and waitlisting will improve your odds. Good luck!

I'd say your chances would be VERY slim and definitely do it day by day if it's available! Another thing you might do is find an OKW owner who wants to trade points with you so you could reserve at the 11 month window through them, and reserve for them at your home resort at an 11 month window for their ressie.

I'm not sure how relevant this is, but I'll share it anyway. I was hoping to book an OKW GV for Easter week at the 7 month mark, even though I knew it was a long shot. When I called (and I called at the end, not day by day), they only had some of my days available. I did not want to waitlist, so I did not take it. They did have GV availability at both SSR and AKV for my entire stay, so I took SSR. Even though it is a holiday, you might still be able to book a GV if you can be flexible. Good luck!

Mouseclick, were the available days weekend nights? The OKW GVs are very popular because of the lower point costs.

I think the days that were booked at OKW were the days closest to Easter, including the Saturday night before. The days that were available were later in the week. I can't remember exactly which were booked and which were open, but it was something like that! Since SSR costs more in points, we did have to drop a day, but I was still thrilled to get a GV at 7 months!
