I have a reservation for a grand villa January 26- Feb 1. I wanted to add another day, Friday, Jan 25 to my reservation at the seven month window.

No luck. I think that anyone who plans on staying in an OKW grand villa for a week or more better plan on having enough OKW points for the complete transaction.

In the past I have had no trouble adding on, for this week in January, a few weekend days in a GV using my Vero points at the seven month window.

Maybe this has broader implications? Buy where you want to stay!

That doesn't bode well for me then - we are SSR owners who were hoping to a GV at OKW in April next year, for 5 nights :sad2:

I'm an SSR owner who was trying for an OKW GV for Jan. 08. No Luck.

We bought an OKW add-on just for the 11 month advantage in booking a GV.

AHHH, I'm so glad I have an OKW home! We love the GVs, but even at the 11 month booking window, we always book them day by day. It's the only OKW ressie I book that way.

Same here. Unless it's an unpopular time, or a complete fluke, generally I would think a GV at 7 months would be next to impossible.

We have a OKW GV ressie for this September 16-22 on SSR points. I must be lucky because I did not call day by day. I know people will say this is the slow season, but it is one of our favorite times to do Disney.

Do you have a better chance of getting a 2 bedroom/sleeps 8 at OKW?

Yes, a much better chance, especially if you call right at 7 months. You can always waitlist for a GV if one is not available but book a 2 bedroom as a back-up.
