OKW for $50/pt on Ebay

The link below shows someone trying to sell their 330 OKW points on Ebay for $16,500. Given all the chatter on the minimum Disney buy back threshold, its seems a given that $50/pt won't get through. I guess they are anxious to sell but it would seem like the potential buyer is wasting his time.

There are a couple of inaccuracies in that e-bay ad.

While it says $16,500 for the bid, in the description they state $20,000 (a little over $60/point)

They show annual dues at $1200 for OKW, for 330 points that about $3.64 /point. OKW dues are not that high.

They state 40 years of 330/points per year or 13,200 points. Actually (a fine point) it's now down to 39 years. DVC ends Jan 31, 2042. There is no January use year, so the last year anyone will receive points for will be their 2041 use year. No one receives any points in 2042.

In any case, Disney will snap it up, as mentioned.
