In looking at the OKW map, there appears to be 5 bus stops. What order are the stops visited? About how long does it take the bus from the first stop to leaving from the last stop?

We will be staying in GV in March and I was wondering what location is best. All I have requested at this point is non-smoking.

I would recommend buildings 23-26. They are right by the first bus stop, conveniently located to the HH and feature pool. :cool1:

When we were there last week while waiting for the bus to EPCOT at the bus stop in front of buildings 23-26 we watched two EPCOT buses drive right by without stopping. That coupled with the fact that once we did get a bus we had to sit through a tour of the rest of the OKW bus stops before leaving. I would say that if you are going to be there during a less crowded time request a room in the 60's buildings and be at one of the last stops. That way you are on the bus then quickly on to your destination.

They don't keep the same order all the times. Sometimes they run it frontwards, and other times they reverse it.

I've seen it where HH is the 1st stop, and at other times it's been the last stop. I know it varies by time of day and depends on whether there are more people going TO the parks, or more people returning FROM the parks.

Probably the most common route I've seen goes like this:
Peninsular, Turtle Pond, South Point, Miller's, Hospitality House.

Another order I've observed is this:
Hospitality House, Miller's, Peninsular, South Point, Turtle Pond.
I know there's been other patterns I've seen. I've seen a variation between whether a bus would do South Point, then Turtle pond, or vice-versa. I've also seen it where Miller's is the first stop.

The only thing always consistent is that Peninsular will always be BEFORE South Point or Turtle Pond since they can only make that stop going in one direction.

As Caskbill stated, the routes can vary. I talked to the bus drivers and they said there is no set pattern, though they all said that no matter what route they take they stop at HH last. Some even stopped there first and last...seems to me they were the Downtown Disney routes.

We were on Miller's Road, and I'd say that 80% of the time we were next to last both in being picked up and dropped off. That meant that the bus was fairly crowded when we got on and we had to spend about 10-15 minutes after arriving at OKW before we'd get to our bus stop every time.

But it really was no big deal. Those extra minutes might be a bigger deal to a parent with a park-melted tyke.

We usually ask for a room near the Peninsular stop. It is usually the first stop so bus is seldom crowded and when we return, if they stop at the HH first it is not a long walk from the stop to most Peninsular stop rooms. Also, if we happen to just miss our bus at Peninsular we can walk to the HH and catch it on the way out.

Sad thing is you were right by EPCOT-just cant walk there. Wish they could get some kind of path-we hate having to count on the buses at OKW for all the parks. If you avoid the annoying internal routes on the way to the parks you get hit with them on the ride back usually, same as the moderates.
