Does anyone know the current bus route for OKW. We are interested to be near the first pickup stop since we will have a 7 month old baby with us. Thank you.:)

The first stop returning from the parks thus the first pick up is Peninsular Road, Then it is South Point, Turtle Pond, Millers Road and the Hospitality House.

May I ask your reason for wanting the "first pick up spot"? I'm not sure I understand why having a baby makes that important. If you are thinking that it will be easier to get on with the stroller, remember that some times of the day, there will be folks already on the bus who are going back to their stop to get off. The "empty bus" rule might only work first thing in the morning.

Thanks for your responses. I guess I forgot to ask which building # would be close to the first stop. And yes the reason I'm asking is for priority seating with a stroller plus my other DS', ages 3 & 5 for early morning transportation to the parks.

here is the map:

As you can see, there are quite a few buildings that are close to Penninsular Road bus stop. Also be aware that your time on the bus will nearly double to parks like MK, MGM, and Epcot. You will be on the bus for nearly 10 minutes before you actually leave OKW while the bus winds it's way through the rest of the resort.

Diane - somthing happened and at least for me I cannot access the map- don't know if it is my computer or something else.

Thanks for the map granny. It doesn't show the bus stop though. Does Dianes map show the stops?

I fixed Diane's photo link, it was a simple typo. Buildings 23 to 27 would be very convenient to the Peninsular Rd stop. However, we rarely see standing room only busses at OKW. And when we do, it usually isn't until the Hospitality House stop

Just got back from WDW last night, We stayed at OKW for our first 3 nights, building 23 just 2 min walk to peninsular rd bus stop, but we always walk to HH to wait for busses its just across the street, busses were never full.

Regardless of the stroller situation, being the first stop with a 7 month old is still important IMO. We stayed at CBR last July and were the last stop on the bus, and my son was cranky(and we took afternoon naps) and very impatient after the first couple of stops. I would definatley try to get a first stop location next time.
