OKW boat to DTD--- latest trip and location of boat launch?

Hello! We will be arriving at MCO at around 5pm....taking DME so we'll likely head out to DTD from OKW at around 8pm.

Our room is not near the HH.

How can we get to DTD?

Is the boat launch walkable from all areas of OKW?

How late does it run?

We're trying to get to Wolfgang Puck Express...where does the boat land? Is it easy to walk from the DTD boat dock to WPE?

If you are eating at WPE Marketplace, I would take the bus to DTD Marketplace. It's a 5 minute walk through the alley to WPE from the bus stop.

Thanks! Do I have to take an internal bus to HH and transfer to a DTD bus? Or do DTD buses come around to the individual OKW buildings?

DTD buses should come to the bus stops (not each building) just like the other buses.

Just in case you did decide to take the boat:

The OKW dock is at Hospitality House. I find it an easy enough walk from all areas of OKW, but I enjoy walking thru the resort. Others will say that it could be a pretty long walk from some areas. All buses do stop at HH before leaving the resort, so you could hop on any bus to get to HH.

At DtD, the OKW boat docks at Pleasure Island. From there you could walk to Marketplace (a bit of a walk), or take the DtD shuttle boat to the Marketplace dock.

I don't recall when the last boat from DtD leaves, but there is a sign with hours posted at the boat dock.

To add to John's post, I think the last boat is usually around 11:00 pm, but that varies by time of year. Just be sure to look at the sign at the boat dock for the current times.

When we stay at OKW or SSR we always take the boat to DTD and not the bus. The boat ride from OKW is very relaxing, especially at night when you see the amzazing color spectrim of lights against the darkness.
