Does anyone know if the boat from OKW to Disney Springs is accessible to my ECV? I've seen a flight of stairs down to the dock behind the Hospitality House, so I don't even know if I could get to the boat.

Yes, it is. There is a path to bypass the stairs and the skipper will place a ramp down so you can drive the scooter on and off the boat.

The path to get down to the boat dock starts near the entrance to the main pool area. Go into the area, past the towel bins and look to the right. There is a short switchback ramp to go down, then a gate to open end you will actually be on
A long pier along the edge of the water. You will get to another chair gate area facing the area where the boat will dock. Wait there for the captain and a ramp will be put down for you.

This is a picture of the boat at the OKW dock, with the wheelchair ramp in place.

Here's a picture of my DH pushing DD's wheelchair up the ramp. You would just drive the ECV up (or someone else in your party could drive it up or push it up the ramp).

This picture shows the seats on the boat in the accessible area. The seat portion flips up, out of the way so that a wheelchair or ECV can be parked in the space. Very easy!

We love those boats on the Sassagoula River - and Olivia's at OKW is such a treat! Sue's info is just spot-on (as always!)

Have fun! :)

Thanks so much! What we're also concerned about is getting from the area up top way down to the boat. But I guess we'll just see how it works-I'm glad to hear that it does. And I agree about Olivia's-their Duval Burger is DH's "must do".

All pontoon boats are ECV and wheelchair accessible, as long as the water lever is not too low for the ramp.

If you follow Sue's route, you'll see that it's actually pretty easy! :)

Don't hesitate to ask any Cast Member - they'll be able to show you right where to go, but Sue'd directions are spot-on. The ramp goes down with a switchback so it isn't as steep as it would be otherwise, and you will find that the ramp ends on the far side of the dock (opposite where the boat docks and the stairs are) and then just roll around the pier, over towards the stairs, and then over toward the boat itself! I promise - it sounds crazy, but once you do it, it's super easy! :)

Have a great trip! :)
