We had a wonderful time at both places. We got so many WELCOME HOMES. Vero is not into the welcome home mode though. We had no problems with either locations, the GV was just great and very clean and well kept. The only problem was the sofa bed-it was really bad. I couldn't even sleep on it and slept on the sofa not opened after the first night. The cottage at VB was just a great. We were in 1550 and it had a great view of the ocean. It was not hot at either place. We ate some great food. In Orlando we went to the Garden Grill which is always our favorite. We ate off the property several times-Perkins and Red Lobster. At VB we tried out Mr Manatee's and Capt Hiram's. Both were very good. We ate at "2002" and it has the greatest walnut crusted chicken. Ask at the desk for the directions. They may call it 2001 but it's name has changed to 2002. It is in VB. The vacation was just a wonderful as always and we didn't find anything lacking at either location. Everything was just as it is every May. Some things were closed but that is the way it is always in May. The new fire works in MK are great but make sure you sit close to the castle but on the right. There is a tree that brocks your view on the left. We will go again next year and get a better view. Overall we couldn't have asked for better weather and certainly not a better place to stay. DVC is and will always be the best family place for us. I had my whole family with me and it was the best way to spend Mother's Day.
