OKW and elevators

I'm sure I know the answer to this, but I thought I'd ask the experts anyway...

Since OKW is an outside-entrance resort, there are no elevators at any of the buildings, are there?

Only the last few buildings were built with elevators. I think it's 4 buildings and they are all numbered in the 60's.

Actually, at least three buildings do have elevators - the three newest. I think they're 62, 63, and 64, but somebody needs to correct me on this if I'm wrong.

Yes, the new ones have elevators, but all the buildings have ground floor units with no stairs to get into. They are the buildings that are number in the 60's. I was given those buildings twice over the years without asking. The elevators were nice for checking in with all the stuff from the car.

Yes, OKW buildings 62, 63 & 64 have elevators. It is nice for members like myself who are not supposed to do stairs to have an option other than only ground floor.

THANK YOU!! I knew you guys would have the answer. Looks like my upcoming trip to BWV is turning into a trip to OKW because my brother and his kids want to go, and there are no 2BRs available at BWV or BCV that week. Besides, we'd have more room at OKW anyway. The one thing I didn't care much for was lugging our monstrously heavy suitcases up stairs.

I know that a room request is not a guarantee, but at least I have hope! Although now I need to look at a map of OKW and see where these 60-something units are located.

Oh - and I know ground floor is an option, but I like upper floors and the thread about hearing the noise of neighbors above you reminds me of another reason I like higher floors.

If you are not located in an elevator building, you can always have bell services deliver your luggage. It is well worth the tip !

(Many people with medical needs request the elevator buildings, so if it is a busy time of year the elevator buldings may not be an option)
