Going to OKW tomorrow for the first time. Any suggestions on what buildings to request? Not familiar with the layout. Have a 2BR and three small children
(3,2,1). Don't really want to carry the little ones a long distance to pools etc?

TIA!

OK so found another thread with info about this. So to have a better chance at getting bldgs 11-14 i need to request this through MS? And is it possible to call in the am and add this to reservation? checking in tomorrow but wont be arriving until around midnight.

To have ANY chance of getting those buildings you have to make that booking specific, not a request.

Those buildings are considered a separate booking category that you make at the time you book your reservations. I will be interested to hear if you were able to get into that area with a request at the time of check in. Please update us when you get back and good luck!!

Thanks for the info on this, I know you're the expert.

As far as walking distance goes, is #23 a much farther walk from the Hospitality House than 11-14 would be? Is 23-26 the first bus stop? How are the views of 11-14 compared to 23-26?

Melanie, I hope you don't mind that I hijacked your thread, but I thought my questions would also help you!!!

Building 23 is just across the bridge from HH. Not far at all. Yes, that is the first bus stop. The views from 11-14 are mostly golf course and woods. Some of building 14 faces the entrance road. I have not stayed in 11, but I have heard a few negatives about that location. Since I have never stayed in it though, I can't say for sure what that is like.

FYI, if you have not booked HH and want something almost as close, try for buildings 15 or 16. Both have great views, and you get a choice of HH or Millelr's bus stops. We usually use HH from 16. Just be aware that both of those buildings are GV buildings, so if you are on first floor, you could have those noisey hardwood floors of the GV above you. That's true of building25 also.

There is a pool located at each of the sections - South Point, Miller's Road and Old Turtle Pond. Each of these also have a bus stop. You would be fine anywhere because you would always be near a pool and bus stop.

To the original poster, I hope you requested a ground floor because there are only three buildings with elevators - 62, 63 and 64 - and they are usually reserved for guests with disabilities. If you get second or third floor, you'll be carrying the children, the strollers and all your stuff up the stairs.
