:sunny: Hi all,
We are booked for a 2 bedroom villa at OKW in November. I did not specify dedicated or lock off on the reservation. My question is if it is a dedicated 2 bedroom villa will there be a coffee pot, fridge, and microwave in the second bedroom area? If it does not, can a second coffee pot be requested for the villa at check-in? Thanks for any info. ::MickeyMo

A dedicated will not have a kitchenette in the second bedroom. A second bathroom sink replaces it and a second closet replaces the separate entrance. Chances are if you did not specify you probably have a dedicated reservation, they book those first and only book lockoffs when no dedicated are available.

Just another note.. Unless you have someone sleeping in the living room, there is really not a lot of need for 2 coffee pots. The coffee pot in the kitchen is a large one. We usually set everything for the coffee up the night before, so when the first person gets up, they can turn on the coffee without making any disturbing noise.

OTOH, if some of you like real coffee and some drink decaf, then having two coffee makers is a good thing.

A second advantage to getting a lock-off is that the climate controls for the studio are separate from the rest of the unit. So if there are differences of opinion on just what is too hot/cool for sleeping, you each can choose.

I have a love / hate relation with lockoffs..

The dedicated 2 br unit feels less crowded .. but the lockoff has its own patio...

sometimes that extra patio is nice...

Housekeeping will bring you a 2nd coffeemaker if you call them. We had a GV last year, and they did this because we had some caf and some decaf drinkers.

The climate control thing is a good point, if your group is very divergent in their temperature requirements.
