This was a spur of the moment trip, planned less than 3 weeks out thanks to the Travel channel and Food Network. We arrived at OKW around 1 and were surprised that we were able to check into our 2bdrm, 3022. The room was absolutely spotless! No mold or mildew in any of the showers or tubs. Everything was in perfect shape.
Drove over to MK because we had a ressie at 5:30 for dinner at Yachtsman. On the way back to T&T we took the monorail, and got off at the Polly and GF to see the decorations. It was great to see them in person as the TV didn't do them justice. Dinner was wonderful as usual at Yachtsman, and the DDE discount rocks!
The new sofa-sleeper was very comfortable according to my dd. Next trip I would take a fitted sheet, as the flat sheet has nothing to tuck around and always comes off when you fold the bed away.
Bus service was good as well, never waiting more than 10 minutes. We had one gentleman in an ECV want to board the bus and the bus driver told him that the bus was full with people holding infants sitting in those seats. He told the man that he would get a bus sent directly for him to take him to MK. When we got to MK, we saw the man getting off a bus parked in front of us, so they must have had a bus come immediately for him. Can't beat that service!
We had fun at MVMCP on the 18th even though the weather was less than great. This was the first time we were at WDW for MVMCP and it was worth the admission price. Hot chocolate was so good!
Lines at Epcot on the 19th were crazy! Over 300 minutes for Soarin, and 200 for Test Track. So nice to know we didn't have to worry because we'ld be back in March and will do them then.
All in all, a great trip. Looking forward to going back in March for 2 nights at VWL, four day cruise, then 3 nights Boardwalk view!
