I have to admit that i'm leaning towards the maclaren's because they are SO light weight (only 8.4 lbs). Any specific models I should be looking at? The baby trend euro looks really nice too, but it's not as light.
We loved our Chicco umbrella stroller at first (it was also the one with the curved handles and it reclined) but within a year of really light use the frame bent and a screw came out of the bottom which I could not find a replacement for. I was so disappointed! My son was only 30lb at the time so it was not a weight limit issue. I'd try the Maclaren - it is a bit more but it's reliable and really easy to maneuver. The last thing you need on your vacation is a stroller that is difficult to push around; what a pain!

I'd say the Volo since you're looking for a four year old. We have the Volo and the Quest. The Quest would be too much for infrequent use with a four year old, the Triumph isn't big enough IMO, the seat is really shallow!
We use the Volo with our three year old since she doesn't need a lot in the way of features.
