okay Saratoga NY residents, what the heck is going on 6/19?????

we are planning the twins baptism and chose the 20th of June for a date. Everyone is travelling so needs hotel accomodations and there is none to be had, anywhere! What the heck!

Lot of conventions in Saratoga Springs. There is a shortage of rooms, but there are several hotels being built now.

Congratulations on the twins!

High-school graduation is June 24th so I don't know if many families will come in that early. Skidmore graduation is back in May - not a factor. I checked the chamber of commerce events calendar http://guides.saratoga.org/web/events/
and there are some benefits and fundraisers listed for that weekend.

mtemm, would your guests consider staying at Exit 17 in South Glens Falls? The Landmark Motel there is not far from the highway, very nice and even has an indoor pool. Fairly inexpensive too. The website is http://www.landmarkmotorinn.com/door/
It's only about a 20 min. drive from downtown Saratoga.
