Okay, one more Disney Visa question (okay, a couple combined!)

Sorry for all the questions...I'm a Disney Visa newbie. ;) So if I put my vacation on my card and pay it off before we go, that's probably too soon to "cash out" my rewards. If I understand correctly, you can get them IN Disney? Where do you do this and how is it done?

Also, we don't ever carry a CC balance, Disney vacations will be no different. We will only go if we have the money IN FULL to do it beforehand. So...if we pay it off in full, and THEN they release a discount/code after it's paid for, how will that affect things? Do they credit the card? Does that take away points I would have earned?

(though I guess if you can get your rewards in Disney and don't have to do it ahead of time, you could wait until closer to the vacation to pay off the card as long as it's still the billing cycle BEFORE you travel (in order to make sure you get the rewards), right??)

I always pay my balance in full each month except the portion that has zero interest for 6 months. You earn the Disney Dollars as you charge items, not as you pay them off. I guess if a code comes out they would credit your credit card. I don't know why you wouldn't keep the money for the zero interest portion in a savings accout and earn interest. Any payments you make will go to any other purchases first making it truly zero interest for the 6 months. Disney Visa has the promotion along with the date it must be paid up by to get the zero interest clearly stated on their monthy statement. If you make a charge today and pay it tomorrow, you still earn the Disney Dollars. We currently have the 5 times Disney Dollars offer on all purchases over $250 each month for Oct, Nov and Dec and have been charging most everything and paying it off even before the statement cuts!! It's a great deal.

THere a places in the MK to get the Disney Dollars reward card, not sure where but I think to the left when you enter the park. There are most likely places in all the parks, just I have never done this. Call and ask.
