Okay... Need a littlle help with a Pin...

Here is what I found out from Dizpins...

Pin 22503: WDI - New York Fireman Mickey (3D)

A small pewter pin of mickey in his red shorts with a red firemans hat on. He is thumbing the edge of the hat. Pin is about 1 1/4 in tall. Came in a small padded tin. This pin was given to cast members at the Studios in Burbank after the 9/11 tragedy, it was a gift and never for sale.

I just got the pin (well not yet as it is on it's way) and while I would like to believe the description on pin pics I see a few problems... One is that it has been over 10 years since they used Walt Disney as a copyright. It has been Disney for a decade. Also If they released the pin in honor of the Fire Fighters in NY why no mention on the case or the pin? And how come no one has ever heard of this "Memorial" pin?

Okay I got the pin in hand now and it is smaller than I thought. The case is a lot smaller than it looked. It is about the size of a small box of matches... The pin lacks a lot of detail but is very very nice. It does not say any thing on the pin or box as for what it was for and as I said it has a Walt Disney copyright not just a straight Disney one.... Some one must have this pin in their collection and know a little of the history...

That pin supposedly was made and given to visiting firefighters from New York after the 9-11 disaster. Every firefighter that was invited to Disneyland was invited to join in the parade and was given this pin as a token of appreciation from Disneyland.

In order to get it you had to be a firefighter.
