So sorry, Barry! Been there too many times. Let's say just about every relationship, but a little differently. In my relationships, it always seems that one of us is head over heels and the other is not. It sounds like you both are, but distance is the problem. Hmmm...that can be tough is neither is willing to relocate. Hope somehow it can work out for you. It's not often you click just right with someone.

I was thinking...even if the first time was "hanging out" this one is most definitely a DATE!!! Please remember that with "friend" we were doing what we all on this thread laughingly referred to as "non-dating." So this thing with "work guy" is already in a whole different ball park! I am so excited about the prospect of a "real" date! OK now I just have to worry about what to wear!! Maybe I will go shopping tomorrow??? Good morning, FF. Yup...put on the jeans and turtle neck sweater this morning. It's even chilly for me! And I'm usually out there in a short sleeve shirt when everyone else has on jackets. LOL! Even when I was in VA.

I did go shopping btw. Unfortunately in the 3 stores I felt like visiting today I didn't find anything "date" worthy. I did come away with a pair of jeans I most certainly didn't need, but they were on sale. I couldn't pass them up!

OK since we are still on the topic of clothing...I feel the need to point out that it is T-2 hours and 45 minutes till date time, and I have yet to decide on an outfit! Not to mention the fact that I haven't showered or did anything with my hair yet!! Man I think it might have been easier if we had scheduled the date for right after I was working or something...then I wouldn't have to agonize over what to wear and how to do my hair (hmm that rhymed! ).

I don't know if you guys remember me telling you about my cop cutie that comes into the restaurant I work part time at?
Well anyway, we had shut down at my full time job from 12/24-1/5 and he was suppose to call me and we were to get together over that time. Well needless to say I have not heard from him since 12/21. I work every Sunday and this past Sunday we had a significant amount of snow coming down so my boss called and told me not to worry about coming in because of the weather well aparently he came in that night so I have not even gotten an explanation. It had better be good or he just falls into the JERK pile!

BTW, just for the record, I own three pair of regular jeans (I don't count my three pair of capris.). Cuts down on decision time...when only one pair is clean, that's what you wear!


TMQ, I'd be anxious to get back to work and see Mr. Cop. I try not to get agitated before I hear the reasoning. Of course I learned the hard way. I once got upset (before finding out what happened) and then learned there had been a car accident in the family. I felt like a heel. (I WAS a heel!) Hopefully you'll get some answers Sunday! That is the day you usually see him, isn't it?
