I do! When I'm working and have an income...LOL! Haven't been there since I left my job and went back to school. :( I'm long overdue for a WDW fix!!!!!!! I usually have a better time than DS. He'd rather be at Universal. :hyper:

So, how old is everyone? I'm 32 and recently divorced. I was with my ex since I was 19. I'm glad we didn't have kids together -that was intentional on my part - but boy do I want to be a mom (and be able to take them to Disney!). I know I have several good years left, but I do feel pressure to find the right guy so that I will have time left to have a family. Anyone else in a similar situation?

The DS is quite a smart lad. :)

Hi everyone!
Another single (parent with child) here!
41 yrs. old
Divorced
One child: DD6
Haven't dated much at all. Just ended a 9 mo. relationship with a guy who ended up being a wacko. (met in Wal-mart, so maybe not a good place to meet others)
Friends now set me up with a really nice guy. Only thing is he is 8 years older than me. I haven't dated anyone that much older than me (biggest gap was 4 yrs). What are your opinions/experiences with age differences?
I have also wanted to move back home (2hrs. away) where my Mom and sister live. I finally decided I would do it and the same day I called HR at the company I was looking at, my friend called about fixing me up with this guy. So we had a blind date with 2 other couples. He looks very promising. We have our first solo date (dinner and movie) this Saturday. Should I stay here and see where it goes or move home before we get too involved?

I try not to go by age too much, but I do have my limits! LOL! You're only as old as you act in my book. But I do have a general range...mid 30's to late 40's. A couple weeks ago I was at a Toby Keith concert and had this reeeeeeeeeeeally cute guy sitting next to me. :Pinkbounc I kept thinking...he looks sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo young! Did I look that young at that age? I never felt like I did. He must have been in his mid 20's. But these days I'd rather have some one with a little more life experience...helps them mature.

Have a GREAT time! :) Only you can decide the answer to your question. If it were me, I'd probably date him and see how it was going before deciding to move. You can always move at a later time.

Took the day off today so DD could rest and stop being sick. Stayed in my pjs in bed with Mel Gibson and Harrison Ford. Unfortunaly they were on tv. I guess a gal can't have everything! ;)

Hope she's feeling better! In bed with Mel and Harrison?! :earseek: But we can dream! ;)

Tiger Bear,
I am totally in the same situation!! And at 35, I am even worse off than you are! My clock is totally ticking and am really feeling those child-bearing years slipping by. I am at the point where I would not be opposed to artificial insemination but it is SOOO expensive.

At least I have my niece to take to Disney. She is seven and we went in August. But I still want my own kids!!!

Where IS he?

I remember years ago when my sister was first divorced and wanted a child. She seriously considered adoption...of an 8-10 year old boy! She was happy when her 2nd husband came along and was pregnant in no time. ;) The waiting stinks!

KatelynnsAuntie, not that I am happy for your situation but it is nice to have someone who can relate to what I am going through. Next week will be 6 months that I have been dating my new guy. We seem to be at different points in our life - he is only 29 and has a year and half left of his residency. We have decided to wait until we both finish major professional hurdles within the next couple of months before talking seriously about what is going to happen to us. A part of me wonders how many more 6 months I have to give him. If I were five years younger I know that I would not even be thinking about this - I would just be enjoying the relationship.

I have a good friend who gave birth last December to a baby via artificial insemination. She is divorced and hasn't found Mr. Right. She couldn't be happier. At first I thought that I would definitely adopt if it would be me, but that process is also time consuming and expensive. So, artificial insemination remains an option for me too. I figure you can always find the guy afterwards! At what point do you make the decision though? I know I am not quite there yet.

Good evening ladies...and Barry!!! ;)

No hot dates last night, just grocery shopping, dinner, and TV watching with a good friend of mine.

But I do have plans for tomorrow evening. Dinner and the new Matrix movie. Looking forward to it. Hope I don't get caught late at work so that I have time to come home and do all that girly primping before going out!! Women have it so difficult. We have to look cute and sexy without making it seem like we are trying to look cute and sexy. Of course the real kicker is that men probably won't really notice what you are wearing or how your hair is done anyways!! Will the vicious cycle never end?? :smooth:

I did something evil tonight. My ex calls and we start talking about our mediation that was last week. He is suppose to get some paperwork together for my attorney and he wants to play around with how much money he's making. He starts arguing with me about he can't predict how much money he'll be making next year or beyond. He wanted to know if I knew what my next career move was going to be. I couldn't resist. The temptation was there. I told him I wanted to get married and not have to work. That took him over the edge, b/c there is no way he would want to pay child support and not have me work. I don't plan on this, but I couldn't resist. :duck: Especially after what he did this weekend!

True! But if we didn't do all of it, they wouldn't notice us! ;)

I'm with Pin Wizard on this one. And I also know that when I look sexy I definitely feel more sexy. :D Good luck tomorrow night, Disney845. There should definitely be men at the Matrix opening. ::yes::

floridaminnie, sorry things are so rough with your ex. Too bad he doesn't seem to be looking out for your daughter's best interests.
