Merry Christmas!

Glad to hear you're enjoying time with the single dad, Legs! And alone! No kids! I don't remember what that's like.

I took 1/2 day off work on Friday. NICE to get out at 11:30 a.m.! It almost felt like I had the full day. Then tomorrow off also. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

DD came home on the 25th and I was soooo happy. I don't like it when she's away and that is the longest she ever has been. We went and saw the Manatees yesterday and I'm teaching her how to play soccer. She starts next month.

The saying is that as we get older, we get wiser...isn't it? Hope Universal was fun!

Hope Bri has fun with soccer also.

Nothing new here. Job is going well. Had a lot of fun working so close to home. Next week I'm back in VA Beach. ACK! A drive every day.

Looking forward to the weekend. Have to waste time at the car dealership tomorrow with an oil change and inspection for a new sticker. Not on my list of FUN things to do. Hope the weather is decent. Most of the weekend is supposed to see rain.

Anyone doing anything special for New Year's? Just staying home and hitting the sack at a decent time here. LOL!

Hope everyone has a Happy New Year. DD and I are heading over tto my parent's house for a night of games to bring in the New Year. We ae spending the night there as don't want to beo n the road with who knows what they've been driking at that hour.

Not yet but did tell my friend to give him my number. Next time he sees him at his business he will give him my number.....that is if he is not seeing anyone.
I'm also starting communication with a guy on eHarmony.
I am trying just to be friends with the single dad since our kids play together and we are neighbors.
This dating stuff is hard...especially when it doesn't work out. I've been in a funk lately

The dating stuff is definitely difficult. It was tough enough the first time around. I usually end up thinking about how much WORK it actually is and stay in my normal routine. Someone send the Fairy Godmother with the magic wand!

Same old stuff here...work, school for DS, Geocaching the weekends away. Monotony at it's finest. Although I am working an occasional Saturday morning. Nice for the OT pay, but it sure makes Saturday a short day!

Just finished moving everything out this past Friday and the old apartment is all clean and keys ready to be turned in. Now the unpacking to do. How is everything going with you PW?

Things are going okay here. Doing the usual thing people do when in single mode...throwing myself into work...finally! Finally a job I can do that with! Work I can take home with me, working an occasional Saturday morning. It works. And the best distraction on the weekends...geocaching! That's pretty much life.
