The picture test...actually, he had sent me a flirt message. I didn't answer it for two days. LOL!
At first I didn't care for his looks at all. But from time to time those two days I kept going back occasionally to look and read. I liked what he wrote, his composition and grammar was much better than some others I had seen. That stuff is important to me. So I decided to put the looks aside for now. He's not hideous, just not what I would have picked out if I were looking over pics and profiles. Lately, I tend to go the route of blonde hair and blue eyes. This guy has dark hair, olive complexion. I believe last night he said he has Armenian and Pakistani heritage back there...born in CA. 
I want blonde hair and blue eyes!!! 
LOL! But we'll see how the personality is. He sounded nice on the phone. Now, how many guys would do this? They are way to visual!! Can I go get liposuction done before our date?

Not trying to start a debate as I'm all for men respecting women (and women respecting men) but it seems to me that opening doors is really just a superficial show of respect or some might say power. Or do y'all think that men who open doors for women really are more likely to treat the woman right in ways that really matter? I'm a peace-maker by nature and hate to start conflict - I'm just curious.
A friend of mine was here a while ago. When he was leaving the room for a moment, he said "excuse me!" A zillion percent polite in my book. Of course, he's the same one that opens the doors. It's very nice...to me. Much better than the door slamming in my face. I actually have greater respect for them if they do this. Interesting. Something so simple can make such a difference for me.
I was reading a review online about our local one. Seems pretty good. When I saw his picture, I figured Italian descent. He says many people think that. (I'm also finding it interesting that the blonde hair/blue eyes interest me while DH had dark hair, light complexion though...Scottish.) Just 1/2 inch pic? Eek! I came across a profile of one guy. He had about 6 pics posted...all with sunglasses!

I don't know if it is or not. Hmmmmmmmmmmm...I wonder if his choice of restaurants means anything. Ha! He asked me a few times if I like wine. It's okay. I'm not much of a drinker. Talk about your empty calories! Hate to waste them there. As we were hanging up the phone last night, he said he was looking forward to dinner and that he was "intrigued." Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. I won't be contacting him, let's put it that way.
He doesn't even have friend potential? Did he do something to turn you off or did you just not click?
