Okay...I know some of you may be sick of these posts, but...

Did you see that TWO 100pt contracts showed up a TTS that have no points until June 05, and cannot close until 12/17 at $80 per point, and they were gone in a couple of days!!!

I have also seen a few beach club's go super fast at $85 per point!!

I don't know what to think??!!! Prices seem to have REALLY gone up recently.

Beca, I think you're right on to say that prices have increased over the last 2 months! Assuming the sellers are actually receiving the asking price, these prices are phenomenal, particularly since the contracts are stripped. I remember some fairly recent posts discussing that the contracts offered by TTS were not priced nearly as high as some of their competitors! Looks like those days may be gone!!

BTW, Jaki has 2 VWL contracts listed on her Web site, $80 pp, no points until June 2005. Man, do I ever feel like we lucked out with the contract we got just a few months ago -- both in terms of the points that were available and the price!!

No way, it's great to see our purchase retaining it's value.

I agree with desperado. Susan

DVC is selling sold-outs for $89 ppt. I really dont see the savings, if they are paying $85 plus closing. If I were still in the market for points, I would have my name on the DVC waitlist. Some of the contracts were listed as FIRM, and there is some misinformation out there, so the sellers most likely are getting close to asking price.

I agree that it is good for the members.

This is what tipped me over to SSR, although it's not really my favorite.

Could be that the ones listed at $80 pp have the seller paying closing costs. Hard to tell.

Also, I think those >150 pt contracts are of particular interest to folks who don't feel they need or can't afford 150 pts. 100 pts can get you 6 or 7 nights in a studio most of the year.
