I am so tempted to just save the $ and use ME, but having access to a car for resort to resort travel is SO convenient! Also with a baby I like knowing I can get anything at anytime if necessary.

What is the deal with Nat'l and Alamo? I haven't been seeing any recent posts talking about good rates. I did go ahead and book a while back with a double upgrade coupon for a minivan w/ Nat'l. However, I have since read that was mistakenly accepted and full-size to minivan upgrade wasn't an option. Any news on this?

What do people have for August rates with Alamo? Thanks for sharing.

I am not finding much. I have Costco, Entertainment, BJ's and OF COURSE, I review what Mary has listed over on Mousesavers.

I literally just spent an hour paying with codes for Alamo. Every combination of every ID and coupon came out with the same rate, $480. Just for sh*#s and giggles I left everything empty...the same rate, $480!

Keep trying. Mousesavers.com is a great starting resource. Remember that you can cancel and re-book car rentals as many times as possible. I must have done it 15 times for my last trip. I only us National, so I had many codes I used to get my best rate of around $125/week for intermediate, emerald aisle. It depends on your dates as mine were not around any holiday times. Be diligent and keep checking.
