We are joining the second half of a trip with a larger party, and originally, we copied their FP+ over to our reservation. Since doing so, my husband decided that rather than stick with their original plan, he would like to switch his Space Mountain FP to the 7DMT, and I would like to trade my BTMRR FP to the same. We have been many times but haven't seen the new Fantasyland yet, and only have one day at MK, so that is our priority that day. I love Space Mountain (I grin like a kid on that ride) and he prefers BTMRR since Space Mountain makes him nauseous sometimes.
Went in, switched mine over no problem. Tons of time slots available for 7DMT. Go to switch my husband's over from Space Mountain - 7DMT isn't even an option to choose. It will only let me switch his BTMRR to 7DMT - I can't switch the Space Mountain or Splash Mountain ones.
I know that Epcot/HS have categories of rides that you are limited by, but I can't find anything that indicates that what I am trying to do (set up 7DMT, Splash, and Thunder as his three FP) should be an issue. I'm thinking this is a problem with the system getting confused by linking different reservations and copying FP+ over and then changing it.
