Okay, booked my package but I have a couple questions!

Booked airfare, hotel, and tickets last night on Disney website. Yay! But a couple of things in the terms & conditions confused me. It says that a $200 deposit plus promotional or published airfare must be paid at booking. It only had me pay $200. Is that okay?

The other thing is it says rates are subject to change until fully paid for. But that doesn't mean my airfare could go up, does it? I will get the price I was quoted since I went ahead and booked and made my deposit?

I booked my package with air over the phone and they only asked for the 200 deposit also so I'd say it's not a problem. The CM said I could cancel before 45 days out with no penalty including air would be refunded (of course you know what they say about different CM's having different info). I got my confirmation yesterday and it has the package price on it as quoted so they can't change that as long as you make final payment ontime. The fine print on the back says they "may" charge air in addition to the deposit but they didn't. It also said something about a penalty for canceling a non-refundable air so I'm guessing this is a refundable ticket.

I would call and check.Airfare should be paid within 24h of booking or you lose the fare. I have seen several threads in the last week where this has happened with the airtran prices. When I booked my package online the other day it charged me the 200 plus the 300 airfare.

Hmm. I have an email in to DW so hopefully that will clear it up. Maybe I will get a call in later. I just hate calling on the phone!

Actually I had tried a few different quotes and some looked like they were charging the airfare and some just had the $200. I didn't get it at the time why they were different.

Well, I called and "Ernest" said it was all okay, that I didn't need to pay for the plane tickets because it was part of the package. So I guess I'll relax and hope he's right!
