Ok you guys...its on, the LIVE Nicki and Todd..Summer edition!

UPDATE ON DINING RESSIES!

Just got off the phone with Disney and was able to score a few more ressies. Here is the update

6/7 We are checking out late at POFQ (morning at AK) and then we will switch to the Swan. We will have dinner at Nine Dragons..never been before but it looks pretty good.

6/8 Have no clue what to do for breakfast, got any ideas? Probably go to Epcot for the afternoon and eat there and then dinner at Beirgarten with DH, its his favorite!

6/9 Todd is in meetings again so I have no idea what to do for breakfast, no clue for lunch and we will meet for dinner at Flying Fish (unless he wants to go to Fulton's, depends on how tired he is)

6/10 He has a few early meetings and then we will have a late breakfast at Boma before heading home.

I need travel tips from Solo people...which park and what should I do by myself? I have wanted a solo trip forever and this is a semi solo trip so now that it is here I am like this :scared1:

Last minute ressies wasnt as hard as I thought it would be...50's Prime Time, Cape May breakfast and dinner and Tutto Italia were sold out for all the dates that we extended but they had alot of other places and times to offer so if you are trying to get stuff last minute you will not starve.

Now I need to pack more stuff...not that I'm complaining, especially when corp. is paying for the 3 day extended stay and some of the food! (for DH at least)

Get your tush on a plane and come down here, we can do 3 days of WDW without the boys!

Don't I wish...don't think that would go over too well with my DH here. But we've got Marco Island to look forward to.

Let us know how things turn out with resort and further ADR's.

And just so you know, I'm NOT counting the times you've changed/will change your ressies ONLY because Todd got you this extra nice bonus. :worship:

Yes we will have Marco! We are going to stay at the Swan, its been 2 years since we have stayed there but I remember the beds are so comfy!

Have a great trip! Can't wait for the reviews!!!

Thanks and welcome aboard!

Oh thats so nice of you but I bet everyone else that wants a drink is going to think otherwise :rotfl: I never expected him to call me this morning with this news! I tried to extend POFQ but the rate was $221 a night, no discounts available for the POFQ!! Are you kidding me?? I could have stayed AKL for $184 a night but the Swan is a deal for $119 and the location is great for me to walk to 2 parks by myself....

Wow, extra days...that rocks!!! :thumbsup2
Now scoot...get your stuff done...get moving...get outta here...get to the eating!! LOL!!! Have a safe trip!

I am so excited for your reviews! Last time I had so much fun reading along :cool1:

I want to try Nine Dragons next trip ... glad you will be able to review it before then!

As for breakfast, what about The Wave? Dinner was so delish, I bet breakfast would be great, too. (Not sure if you have tried it in the past).

Thanks for coming out of hiding! :rotfl: I hope you enjoy Boma as much as we do, cannot wait to try TH though. Have you been to the F&W before? We love it!

No, we've (by which I really mean me!) always wanted to go, but never did before we had kids, and since you can't really enjoy anything involving wine too much when you've got kids to take care of, we thought it would be a long time before we would get to go! But thanks to a fortuitous special rate at the Poly, some free Delta sky miles, and a SIL willing to take on a 5 year old and a 20 month old for 4 days, it looks like we're going to get to go after all, and we're (by which I really mean me!) are terribly excited. (Don't worry....DH will be excited once we get there....he's just one of those guys who can't get excited about something until it happens).

Just caught up....congrats on the extra days!

WOO HOO!!! What an unexpected surprise!!!!:cool1: More days for you means more porn for us!:thumbsup2

Since you'll be at the Swan why don't you try Spoodles for breakfast, you won't get the chance for much longer!

Lucky you being able to stay extra days!

What about Spoodles for breakfast? It would be the last time (because of the change over) or Fresh at the Dolphin?

Have you done the Boardwalk Bakery for breakfast? They have some fantastic items -

I do hope you'll stroll over and get some pictures and prices of their cakes they do there - that cake thread on the main page gets so many questions - I posted what I found, but that was last OCT - who knows what is up now!

The Swan, the beds - the Epcot resort!! You could always walk over to Sunshine Seasons at Living with the Land! For a solo trip, just carry your camera around, and whip out a notebook and they will think you are a journalist!! :thumbsup2

Isnt there a Micro Brewery over on the Boardwalk? Maybe if you have a free dinner slot or lunch you could check that place out for us?

We're goin in Jan '10 and I cant wait to try the Boardwalk Area eateries - looking forward to your reviews - I also appreciate your attention to detail with pictures!!

Thank you!

Can't wait! I'm trying to decide between Raglan Road and WP Cafe for our July trip. I hope you have a quick and traffic free drive!

I usually just lurk on these reviews but yours sounds like fun so I am glad I found it before it actually started. I will be going to RR in July when we go down for our Disneymoon. Very excited to hear how you like it. Have a great trip! Rebecca

Nikki you just kill me (in a good way....). You can make peanut butter and jelly on white bread sound like the BEST meal in the world when it is served at Disney!!!! I was telling DH about you and honey when I was planning our trip for our anny last year and was thinking how much you would have loved seeing our dining experience at Cali Grill...... It was awesome!!!!!

Glad to hear you're there again. I think we're going to shoot for first part of October this year and celebrate the anniversary late.
K

Hi! I found your dining review about 1 month ago and read all the other ones as well! I decided to come out and say hello! They are great and i'll be reading along with this one! And i have to tell you that you are am extremely patient person...i could never cancel the california grill! lol Can't wait for more!!!!! :cool1:

Whew! I found the Nicki and Todd review before there was a review! I'm not behind....yet. :)
