We'll be at WL 12/2-8. We have two rooms (one king-my parents, one queen with bunk-me,hubby,& daughters) Courtyard view. When I made my reservation, I asked for adjoining rooms or rooms very close to each other. My questions is what is the best floor to stay on and where should I request to be, closer to the lake or closer to the main building, overlooking the pool? Please give me advice.

Keep in mind that the more you ask for the more disappointment you are setting yourself up for. What I am saying is that they are only requests, the only thing you are guaranteed is the view that you booked. Your post seems as if you are already positive that you will have the bedding that you want which is not the case, bunk beds and king beds are requests and can not be guaranteed as the reservations CM's have no idea what will actually be avalaible at the time of your arrival. They will try and fill your requests but can not always!

As for your other questions the only floor I would not want to be on is the ground floor because the views can be blocked by shrubs and/or stone walls. I would suggest a higher floor overlooking the pool but again the more requests you make the harder it is to fill them. Requesting rooms near each other one with a king bed and the other with queen and bunks will be hard enough to fill without getting technical about view and floor etc.

I don't mean to sound rude, I just don't want you to have so many expectations that you are disappointed upon check in at the hotel. Keep it simple and request only what is very important to you.
