We need to acknowledge and recognize all those poor children (like mine) who have been to WDW more times than their age. Children who are forced to endure the scorn of their teachers, who weep and gnash their teeth at all that lost "seat time". I say to them, "Is Disney not a learning experience in itself? Is there no science involved in hanging upside down on the Rockn'Rollercoaster?" I am proud of my kid's Disney heritage, doggonit. I am happy that my youngest carries a countdown clock in her bookbag and looks at it every 5 minutes. Besides the hokey pokey, isn't Disney what its all about?

Okay, our kids have been to WDW more times than to school, only because we homeschool... but then again, since every day and everywhere we go can theoretically be considered "school", then... I guess maybe they haven't.

But WDW is definitely a learning experience... and a life skill! :teeth:

I got college credits for going to Disney so it must be educational.

You can't forget EPCOT in your list of places to learn. There you can learn about the sciences and social studies. All the walking you do counts as PE. You can improve your writing skills by writing letters to Disney about complains/magical moments from the trip. When the kids get into high school and take psychology they can do experiments on the other guests or theorize why so many guests "leave their brains at home." (I don't mean to offend anyone by that statement, but some of the things I've seen and been asked make me wonder.)

My two kids who are named after two Disney Princesses have been to Disney every year. To think that we do not even have stock in Disney!!!

Ok...so here is the sadder news. We got involved in pin trading in August 2002. Thanks jojo_ct!!!!! We started collecting the lanyard pins. Then we went back in April 2003...and we are going back again this summer. One way or another we will complete two sets for our girls. :bounce:

When we tell our kids how lucky they are to have such wonderful parents that take them to Disney ever year, they look at us like we have three heads. What do you mean (Mom or Dad) some kids never get to do to WDW? What can you expect from two kids under the age of 10?

You're welcom Cindy.

Here's the flip side to this story. Who's children have been to Disney World so many times that they don't WANT to go any more. I knew I was in trouble a few years ago when my son asked me, "So Mom, where are we going on vacation this year? Not Disney AGAIN!" How is it possible that this child has my genes?
