It really does bother me to hear people say that they leave the room a mess. This is our investment and I feel that we should all take care of it. Maybe, I am reading too much into their message, if I am please do not be offended.
It really does bother me to hear people say that they leave the room a mess. This is our investment and I feel that we should all take care of it. Maybe, I am reading too much into their message, if I am please do not be offended.
Not offended. I guess we should define "mess". To me, that means the dishes aren't run in the dishwasher, there are some items left in the fridge, the beds are not stripped but the towels are of course in the tub. It DOESN't mean there are doughnuts smashed in the carpet, holes in the walls, etc. In my family, I am the vacation workhorse, my family depends on me to do all the packing, cleaning and other checkout stuff pretty much solo. Therefore, I am often rushed at check-out. If I don't get the room back in shape, I feel guilty and leave a larger than usual tip. Guilt is a wonderful thing.
